About Us

baMa -Business Angel Minority Association- is a national initiative to create a more inclusive startup ecosystem through early stage investments by Minority led startups.

Our vision is to encourage MINORITY led talent, and ensure more families like ours, benefit from new technologies and innovation on the future.

Why focus on minorities in Houston?

More than 70% of the population within Houston is part of a minority group, but minorities represent less than 25% of the Start up Ecosystem. Business Angel Minority Association is the first step for the solution.
