We all are feeling the sting of rising costs across the board. I get a rude awakening every time I go to the grocery store or pump gas. I just want it to STOP! However, since we know that it’s not stopping anytime soon…we prepare! Here is what I’ve done:

1. Identified all income I have access to each month
2. Wrote down every expense I can eliminate or cut back on spending
3. Prioritized my spending (this week I’m not eating out)
4. Created a visible spending plan that I can refer to daily to keep me on track. This tells me how much I can spend so that I can keep my family in a safe space financially.
5. Currently researching ways to add more income to my household

Of course I don’t like to budget, but I don’t like being broke or not being able to provide for my family. A little discipline now will sustain you greatly during this time of inflation. If you need assistance with developing a spending plan, let’s do it!
