Friendly reminder: if you’re hoping to spend the holidays in your new home, now is the time to get started! 🍁🎄
Only 93 days until Thanksgiving and 120 days until Christmas! (Don’t ask me how we are already here; it blows my mind too) so it’s time to start checking off the list of items to prepare your home to sell!
1. Hire an agent you trust. When it comes to selling your home (and most likely your biggest asset) it’s crucial to have a knowledgeable agent in your corner.
2. Prepare your home. Your agent will be able to guide you on things they feel need to be done to your home in order to get it ready for listing! This could include landscaping (curb appeal is a must), fresh paint in certain areas of your home, or maybe even some staging if necessary.
3. Clean and declutter! This is so important to make sure that your home is show ready and makes a great first impression.
4. Schedule professional photos. High quality photos can set your listing apart from others by increasing online visibility and showcasing your home’s best features.
5. LIST! Once you and your agent feel your home is ready to hit the market, time to list in the MLS and get your home SOLD!
