- Go to www.irs.gov

- Scroll down & click “View Payments”

- Click “View Advance Payments”

- Click “Create New Account” ( if you have not already. If you have, enter your login information.)

- Follow the steps required.

* MUST have an ID card available for proof of identity.

If you were paid the advancement, the IRS will provide the exact dates and amounts.

🗣Having a reputable tax professional every year is important. Registered tax professionals are registered with the IRS. Anything goes wrong the IRS will know that someone filed for you.
I recall owing taxes and it never felt like it would end.

❌You definitely don't want to risk getting audited and things are not properly filed. Especially if you used a " Ghost Preparer" What is a "Ghost Preparer"? They are usually the ones who prepare your taxes without a Ptin (Preparer Tax Identification Number). If a ghost preparer prepares your taxes incorrectly it will fall back on you! They usually do this as if the taxes are being self-prepared. This way it looks like you are the one filing your own taxes. Always get a copy of your tax return no exceptions!
