If you've already filed your tax return and it has been accepted by the IRS, please be aware of the following:
Refunds that include the Child Tax Credit (CTC), Earned Income Credit (EIC), Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), or American Opportunity Tax Credit (AOTC) are subject to the PATH Act.
These refunds will not be released until after February 15, 2026, even if your return has been accepted.
