Tonya Ivy spends her workdays putting nervous people at ease in a dental chair. That skill travels.

By trade she's a dental hygienist. Off the clock she sings, plays piano, and gets outside whenever she can. At home, two five-year-old shihpoo siblings named Macy and Milo run the place. And above all of it, in her own words, Jesus is her #1.

That combination is exactly why she belongs in this work. Someone who can calm a person who'd rather be anywhere else can sit down with a family and help them protect what matters most. Same gift, pointed at something bigger.

A recent study found that more Americans are afraid of running out of money in retirement than they are of dying. I understand that fear, and I understand the skepticism that usually comes with it too, especially around annuities. A lot of people have heard the horror stories about fees and commissions, and honestly some of them are true, which is exactly why the conversation matters. My job isn't to sell you on anything. It's to walk through your numbers plainly and help you figure out whether there's a way to protect what you've spent decades building. If that's on your mind, reach out and let's talk it through.

Some agents are not failing.

They were simply recruited, licensed, contracted… and abandoned. 😮‍💨

They were told to “go sell” without being taught how to build confidence, create consistent conversations, recruit with integrity, follow a system, or become a leader.

Then they started blaming themselves.

Nah. 🚫

A license gives you permission to do the work.

It does not automatically give you the environment required to grow through the work.

That is why I built Chosen Agency to be more than insurance. 🙌🏽
