To all of my current insurance clients:

There is a promotion Goosehead is running throughout December for internal referrals, they sent out an email last week with a unique link for each person. Send it out to friends and family (insurance has raised across the board so they will be thankful!) and if they just fill out the link then you get entered into the drawing that takes place in January.

December is always a slower month so all referrals are helpful! Reach out if you have any questions or can't find the email.

Smarter.. by design. Renewal insurance rates are going through the roof this year. I have personally seen 30% increases on both home and auto rates. Another day, another happy new member of the flock! Julian was not only struggling with high car insurance rates but he also could not get ahold of his agent. Sound familiar? It is one of the most common things I hear from my calls with families. When was the last time you reached out to your insurance agent? Are they truly shopping your policy around to save you money? Stop worrying about what someone else isn't doing and start working with someone you know is doing the work!

January is a big time for renewals on home insurance and I am getting calls daily about insurance companies jacking their rates up! Welcome to December Facebook Friends!

Hopefully you weren't caught in all the craziness of Black Friday last week, and instead had a great Thanksgiving with your families. Today I am here to talk about renewals! I have been getting so many calls from clients about their renewal rates jumping up hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars! Most common question... why?

There are a lot of factors that are involved, but like many other industries we are starting to see the effects of the past year or so and it couldn't have come at a worse time! After all your holiday shopping and gift giving you get hit with a renewal on your home insurance that makes you shiver, or even worse.. you didn't even know!
