Importance of a Mortgage Broker vs going direct to a lender:
A mortgage broker has done the leg work and contracted with dozens of lenders, has their pricing sheets and stays on top of the market. A lender only has their prices.
A mortgage broker can be a trusted partner in your business and help devise strategies for your business to help you grow.
A lender typically is an order taker and doesn’t offer much help with strategies.
A mortgage broker (me at least) can help you with your portfolio and help you maximize your income by showing you when and what properties to refinance.
A lender won’t keep track of your portfolio. They will just send you random emails about their products that remain the same.
A mortgage broker works on your level and has the same sense of urgency to close your deals.
A lender typically gets a paycheck from their employer.
A mortgage broker gives you his/her cell number for you to text when you need an update.
A lender will make you wait for a call back.
A mortgage broker is like you, the investor, hunting for the deal and planning out their business.
A lender is someone that is handed someone else’s list of clients and is told to start calling.
Work with a professional that works like you. Bring a mortgage broker into your mastermind group and let them work to help your business.
