In his opening remarks to attendees of the Annual Conference, Commissioner Temple said his goal is to strengthen Louisiana's insurance market to protect everyone. "Investments are based on confidence in our State. And confidence in our insurance market is foundational to making our State stronger."

𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: By law, eligible military members can receive a 25% discount on the liability portion of their auto insurance premium. However, getting the discount has required service members to reapply every year for the savings.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱? This week, Commissioner Temple simplified the application process by only requiring eligible service members to submit the application form one time.
