Proud of our SFLIC team!

42 lunches found a second table this week...THANK YOU to Tara Arthur and the West Central Arkansas Society for Human Resource Management (WCASHRM) for thinking of our neighbors following their 21st Annual WCASHRM Managers Seminar at the Hot Springs Convention Center!!

Tara, who served as seminar chair, arranged for a whopping 42 boxed lunches remaining after the event to be donated to the Hot Springs Community Resource Center...and she’s following that up with bottled water for our guests as well!

We’re so grateful every time members of our community see an opportunity to help and make it happen.

These meals will be put to good use serving our neighbors, and we appreciate Tara and WCASHRM for believing in our mission.

Today, we recognize and celebrate the retirement of Yolonda G. Thompson after an extraordinary 37 years of dedicated service to Selected Funeral and Life Insurance Company.

Yolonda joined SFLIC in 1989 as a Financial Secretary and, throughout her career, served in a variety of roles within Claims, Benefits, and New Business. Her extensive knowledge, particularly in annuities, and her commitment to excellence made her an invaluable member of our team. She served as Director of the Benefits Department from 2003 to 2016, and in 2016 was appointed Assistant Vice President/Director of New Business by our Board of Directors.

We are deeply grateful for Yolonda's many years of service, leadership, and dedication. While she will be greatly missed, we are excited for her as she begins this new chapter, enjoying more time with her husband and their grandchildren.

Please join us in thanking Yolonda for her remarkable career and wishing her a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement.

This Independence Day, we're grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, the communities and partnerships we serve, and the brave servicemen and servicewomen whose sacrifices have helped preserve those freedoms for generations.
