NAIFA PA hosted their annual Morning with the Rising Stars + A View from the Top today, an engaging event that brings together rising talent and seasoned industry leaders to share insights, build connections, and spark new opportunities.

I was so honored to represent New York Life Greater Philadelphia General Office on the panel, along with Jessica Sarter from New York Life Constitution General Office and Cameron Flasinski from Vista Wealth Solutions. Thank you to Steven Earhart for moderating and making us all feel so comfortable! We also heard from Bob Moses, an Executive Coach from Lamplighter Consulting, on the importance of choosing your words carefully and how to create a lasting first impression.

Taking time from my practice to learn and grow with other financial and insurance professionals is so important, and days like this remind me exactly how much I love what I do.

Earlier this week, I attended my first NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) Congressional Conference in Washington DC, and it was a great experience. Not only did I have a chance to connect with national members, as well as members of NAIFA-Pennsylvania, I also proudly represented New York Life Insurance Company

If you know me, you know that this is right up my alley - I love meeting new professionals in my industry to continually learn and grow, and I’m passionate about ensuring that our elected officials hear the voices of their constituents and act in their best interest.

From retirement security and long-term care to protecting access to financial guidance, these financial professionals brought real world perspectives directly to lawmakers and their staff. As the Volunteers for Good Coordinator for the New York Life Greater Philadelphia General Office, I attended the 2026 national conference at our headquarters in New York City. The event featured so many inspiring stories of impactful work, and I look forward to continuing these efforts in our community in the coming year.

I also always love the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other financial professionals and employees from around the country, and this was definitely a great group!

Franca was recently awarded the esteemed title of Cavaliere of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic (Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana – OMRI), one of Italy’s highest civilian honors, and she is also marking 55 years of Altomonte’s this year 🇮🇹
