I attended my second New York Life Insurance Company Executive Council last week at the beautiful Ga***rd Rockies Resort in Denver, Colorado. It was an amazing experience! It’s always great to connect with my colleagues, home office staff, and meet and learn from new advisors.

Now I’m excited to bring the knowledge I gained back to YOU. It’s not lost on me that behind every conversation I have and every credit I earn, there is an individual, family, or business who is more secure because of that. It’s always my goal to turn your good intentions into a real plan for your future; I know that the meetings I take today lead to ripples that can cause peace of mind for many years to come. My friend and colleague Georgia Chletcos had herself quite a week, celebrating a successful 20 year career (including 20 consecutive Councils) at New York Life’s Executive Council 2026 in Denver, Colorado. She was also elected by her peers to represent us on the Agent Advisory Council (AAC).

Georgia, your work with your clients and your time volunteering with so many charitable organizations is admirable. You are an inspiration to everyone, but especially women in our field! Congratulations!

At New York Life Insurance Company, Council is an annual meeting held at exclusive destinations around the world that celebrates the impact that agents and advisors have on the lives of their clients. For generations, Council has celebrated the relationships we build while helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals.

In my world, you’re either a Council agent or striving to be one. The Council year concluded on June 30, and I’m so excited to announce that for the second year in a row, I’ll be attending NYL’s Executive Council. Denver, here I come!

This accomplishment was made possible by the daily support and guidance I receive from my family, including my daughters who are my biggest cheerleaders, and my parents and my sisters. NAIFA PA hosted their annual Morning with the Rising Stars + A View from the Top today, an engaging event that brings together rising talent and seasoned industry leaders to share insights, build connections, and spark new opportunities.

I was so honored to represent New York Life Greater Philadelphia General Office on the panel, along with Jessica Sarter from New York Life Constitution General Office and Cameron Flasinski from Vista Wealth Solutions. Thank you to Steven Earhart for moderating and making us all feel so comfortable! We also heard from Bob Moses, an Executive Coach from Lamplighter Consulting, on the importance of choosing your words carefully and how to create a lasting first impression.

Taking time from my practice to learn and grow with other financial and insurance professionals is so important, and days like this remind me exactly how much I love what I do.
