The Shelby County Small Business Awards luncheon is held annually in May in conjunction with Small Business Month.

We were thrilled to be on-hand last week as Helena-based Avadian business members El Tejano and Oh My Sole were nominees for the award. We loved being there to celebrate their accomplishments and to hear about all the amazing small businesses in Shelby County.

Thomas Webb owns Magnolia Roots Landscaping and wanted a local financial institution in Helena.

“I wanted someone local I could work with and call on when I needed help and who would know my business,” Webb says.

For four years, Magnolia Roots has offered residential and commercial landscaping design, installations, and maintenance in Birmingham and Shelby County.
