5 years ago, I made a great decision and hired Kortney Franks as my first employee. I got a lead that she was interested in switching jobs so I met her at a Starbucks in Pelham. We hit it off instantly and she has had a huge role in helping me grow Steel City Insurance. Happy 5 years, Kortney! Here is to many more!

Overall, these events resulted in the deaths of 492 people and had significant economic effects on the areas impacted. The 1980–2023 annual average is 8.5 events (CPI-adjusted); the annual average for the most recent 5 years (2019–2023) is 20.4 events (CPI-adjusted).
