Born and raised in Hood River, I returned to the area “for the summer” after graduating from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!). That “summer” has turned into decades, during which I raised two children—now young adults—and built a 21-year career as a mortgage loan officer. In that role, I helped countless individuals achieve their homeownership dreams by guiding them through the planning and fi
nancial processes. When recruiters from Edward Jones called, I answered. As I learned more about the Financial Advisor role, I realized it aligned perfectly with what I loved most about mortgage lending: building relationships, helping people meet their goals, and simplifying complex financial concepts that often feel overwhelming. Plus, I still get to use a calculator—a tool I seem to gravitate toward despite my creative side! Now that my children are grown, my free time revolves around dogs, particularly Bernese Mountain Dogs. I share my home with several of these gentle giants and am passionate about dog rescue and responsible dog ownership. Beginning in 2025, I will proudly serve as the board president of our local dog shelter. As a financial advisor, I am dedicated to partnering with clients—whether new investors or those with more experience—to create personalized plans aimed at achieving financial security. Together, we’ll navigate the complexities of financial planning and work toward your long-term goals.
