I would like to personally inform you that I have been promoted to Senior Property Manager with Reit Management & Research LLC and will now be overseeing our industrial portfolio. My last day at First Insurance Center will be this Friday, January 30, 2015, after which I will relocate to our main office in downtown Honolulu (Central Pacific Building). They are in the process of filling my position at First Insurance Center but, in the interim, me and my boss, Jeff Shinagawa, will oversee operations at FIC together with the FIC team (Amber, Sam and Val).

I have been at First Insurance Center for 5 years and I will truly miss this property and all the people that I have worked with.

Aloha Wednesday FIC Ohana,

As you know we had a very eventful morning that started off with the building fire alarm. I would like to take this time to thank everyone for being so cooperative and evacuated so efficiently. Later we were informed that someone on the 9th floor accidentally hit the pull station in the hallway. As a safety precaution we do ask all tenants (who are able to) evacuate the building and wait at the safe zone until the all clear is announced. We saw many wardens wearing their vest with their clip board in hand and floor sign, Maika'i!

Mahalo Tenants for all SUPPORT as John Sotelo completed Over the Edge for Special Olympics Hawaii athletes. John has repelled 40-stories over the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. Now he gets to cross this off his bucket list.

A message from Aloha United Way

On behalf of Aloha United Way’s Society of Young Leaders and everyone here at Aloha United Way we would like to extend our sincerest thank you for supporting this year’s school supply drive for homeless Keiki. Because of your support we were able to collect over $17,000 worth of School Supplies benefitting thousands of Keiki in need here on O‘ahu. Some of the programs and schools who have benefitted from the drive were Ewa Beach Elementary, James Campbell High School, Partners in Development, Homeless Concerns Liaison, and Palama Settlement.
