A new federal savings program for children launched on July 4th, and families across Northeast Pennsylvania are asking us what it means for them.

Trump Accounts are tax-advantaged investment accounts for children under 18, created under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Eligible children born between 2025 and 2028 may receive a one-time $1,000 government contribution, and families can contribute up to $5,000 per year.
