The Hondo Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a motivated, self-starting manager with small town values tempered with forward-thinking business skills. This responsible, service-minded individual should have a combination of college and/ or work experience to be a successful leader within the community. Strong people and negotiation skills, diplomacy and critical thinking abilities, computer and internet knowledge. Marketing or public relations experience a plus.

The Director is the face of the Chamber. Under the guidance of the Board of Directors, he or she is responsible for day-to-day operations, including the overall management of staff, meetings, financials, members, events and communications in accordance with current policies and bylaws.
They will act on all contracts and agreements with the city of Hondo and other partners.

The Director, with their staff and support of the Board, will lead the Chamber in positive new directions, and maintain and modify existing successful programs
