Why are Marketplace plans so high this year? If you are working with us, we are delaying our enrollment process to see if more of the tax credits are restored. Florida Blue was approved for a 32% increase. Employer groups are struggling with 11-13% increase, and we fully understand the hardship the increases and less tax credits created.

The other day, my newest client shared something unsettling.
She answered a knock at her door - a friendly stranger wanting to talk about faith. A few minutes into their conversation, though, the topic suddenly shifted. "I heard you're Medicare eligible," the visitor said.
That's when her stomach dropped.
Here's the truth: there is no compliant way to door-knock someone about Medicare. It's not allowed. Full stop.
Mixing religious conversation with Medicare pitches is not only manipulative - it's shady.
If this happens to you, ask the most important question: "When did I give you permission to contact me about Medicare?" If they can't answer that clearly, shut the door.
