Community Support Needed for Hominy Lake Fireworks Celebration
The annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration at the Hominy Municipal Lake is moving forward thanks to the support of local organizations and community leaders, but additional donations are still needed to help make this year’s event a success.
The Hominy Chamber of Commerce recently pledged $4,000 toward the purchase of fireworks for the celebration. In addition, the Hominy City Council voted to contribute up to $10,000 to support the event. These commitments represent a significant investment in one of Hominy’s most anticipated community traditions.
The cost of the fireworks display is nearly $20,000. Donations are currently being accepted to help bridge the remaining funding gap and ensure a memorable celebration for families and visitors from across the area.
Community support plays an important role in making the annual fireworks show possible. Every contribution, regardless of size, helps bring the event closer to its fundraising goal.
Individuals, businesses, and organizations interested in supporting the Fourth of July fireworks display are encouraged to make a donation.
