4.5 star review received on Experience.com for Ransom Kelly by Cheryl A U - Ransom was great, I had issues with the auto communication that did not provide any real info. Also, issues with why getting a payoff was so difficult. In my experience I can request a payoff at any time, multiple times if I would like. This seemed to cause a delay in our closing - which was costing us money. Also, there were times when info was requested, at what seemed like the last minute and we were expected to respond immediately, such as changing the homeowners insurance to our trust name. We had provided the Trust documents at least 3 weeks prior and had been communicating that we wanted the property in the Trust since the beginning. Also, it was not clear who the players we were dealing with was. Ransom was a given and we had another person named Jeff that I thought was our processor and could handle any other issues but it seemed like there were other players in the background that were critical to the process that were not evident. Underwriters are a given but it was not clear if they were the ones causing the issues or not. Our closing agent seemed to be dealing with someone else.
