Happy Sewards Day!

I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the beauty of my home sweet home, Alaska and how much I love living here and thankful to live here🏡

And I want to recognize the art of the real estate deal 💵. In 1867 for about two cents an acre- 7.2 million dollars- Mr Seward ended Russia’s occupation in North America!

Seward’s Folly they called it, an Icebox! Yet probably one of the greatest real estate transactions in history! Sad, that he never saw how amazing Alaska truly is and what it became and will continue to become.
