Holyoke Taxpayers Association Inc The Holyoke Taxpayers Association, Inc., is a 501(c)(4) non-profit, non-political research agency supported voluntarily by our members.

This year marks the 82nd
anniversary of the organization, which was chartered on November 1932. The association monitors the expenditures of local tax dollars collected from Holyoke taxpayers with a primary emphasis on achieving both effective and economical government supported by an equitable taxing system. We want to help make Holyoke a better place to live, work, raise families, and do busine

ss. The organization's purposes include fostering an active, alert, leadership in the City and furnishing statistical information to encourage economy and efficiency in government. Membership in the Taxpayers Association is open to all citizens and business owners of Holyoke.

Hello Friends;

I’m excited to announce that the Holyoke Taxpayers’ Association will host a debate between incumbent Patricia Duffy and challenger Dori Dean for State Representative-5th Hampden District.

The debate will be in studio at Holyoke Media on Tuesday August 11 from 6:00-7:30 PM. Primary Day is September 1.

Tony Cignoli will be our moderator.

HTA is excited to host this special event for Holyoke voters.

Event will be held on 10/19 at the Holyoke High School North Campus, in the auditorium.

Doors open at 5:30.

6:00 PM-the 2 candidates for the School Committee At-Large Seat will debate until 6:30.

7:00-8:30 PM-Candidates for the 6 City Council At-Large Seats will debate.

Debate will be live streamed on Facebook (via Jeffrey Trask). The video will be available on channel 15 the following day or so.

Spanish translation services will be provided.

We ask that folks attending be respectful and courteous. Please no campaign material (signs/flyers/pins/wearables) inside the auditorium.
