As an individual and a financial professional, Joshua has seen the effects 2008 financial crisis has had on people and families across our country. This experience has further fueled his goal of making a positive impact in his community and the people he meets. Joshua was raised in South Florida and studied at the Theological College in Chicago. Florida, he found his “purpose” serving his communit
y as a funeral director for 20 years. “It was a career where I knew I was making a positive impact in people’s lives every day, at a time when they were in need.”
Although that career was one Joshua took a great deal of pride in, the time came to make a change. In 2001 he joined the prestigious firm of Bienenfeld, Lasek & Star and started his career in the financial field.
“It was difficult at first, I am a born counselor. My purpose is to help people”. After some time Joshua found that he was able to parlay his understanding of families, their needs, concerns and the things that matter most in their lives into his financial practice. “It is not about the money, and what it can buy you. It is about the financial confidence it can bring to you.”
In 2012 Joshua opened his firm, Safe Secure Financial Inc. and over the years, has gained a comprehensive knowledge of developing strategies for Retirement Income Planning, Wealth Optimization and Preservation. He has used his knowledge to help retirees and pre-retirees plan for lifetime income and meet more of their financial goals through the use of insurance products, including annuities. He has appeared on “NBC Nightly News” and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal as well as other publications regarding his opinion on financial matters and retirement strategies. Joshua enjoys getting to know the people he meets while learning about them and the things that are important to them in their lives. Then he is able to help his clients achieve more of their financial goals with Safe Secure Financial Inc. by helping them design their own retirement strategy for financial independence. Joshua is very blessed in his life. He is married to his lovely wife, Lori Beth of 33 years. They have three fantastic sons, and have recently become grandparents for the 1st time! He is insurance licensed in the state of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas and California.
