MVP Celebrates 25 Years

What began on September 11, 2001, with three people and a vision has grown into a team working together across 14 states. While MVP has always been proud to serve clients and advisors across the country, this anniversary provided something especially meaningful: the opportunity to bring our people together in person.

MVP recognized early on that talent was never confined to a zip code. Long before remote work became “a thing,” MVP embraced a work model that allowed us to find talented people wherever they were. Today, MVP is primarily made up of remote employees, making the opportunity to gather together even more special.

The celebration gave employees from across the country the chance to meet face to face, with some meeting coworkers in person for the first time. We were also thrilled to welcome several former MVP employees who have since retired, bringing together both the past and present of MVP.

Thursday evening kicked off the celebration with food, fun and plenty of camaraderie at Kings Bowling in North Hills. Employees enjoyed time together away from their computers, sharing laughs and competing on the lanes.

Friday was all about our team. Employees participated in team building activities that gave everyone an opportunity to connect, collaborate and put faces to the names and voices they work with every day. It was a great reminder that while technology allows us to work from virtually anywhere, there is something special about being together.

Saturday brought the group together at Level 7 Rooftop in North Hills, where MVP’s three owners reflected on the company’s journey. They shared thoughts on the past 25 years, where MVP stands today and what they see ahead for the future.

The celebration also included the announcement of MVP’s 2026 Employee of the Year. Congratulations to Casey Miller, who was recognized for her contributions to MVP and presented with a stunning pair of diamond earrings.

Throughout the week, employees also participated in games and challenges celebrating MVP’s 25 years, including trivia, the Golden Ticket, Lucky 25, a 401 step challenge and a 4.01K challenge.

Over the past 25 years, MVP has experienced growth, change, challenges and successes. Through it all, the company has remained focused on its relationships with clients, advisors and, most importantly, its people.

The anniversary was about more than marking a date on the calendar. It was about bringing together the people who helped build MVP, those shaping it today and those who will help carry it into the future.

From three people in 2001 to a team spanning 14 states today, MVP has grown in ways that could not have been imagined 25 years ago. Yet one thing remains the same: the people behind MVP are what make the company what it is.

Retirement. Define It.

Today marks 25 years since MVP opened its doors, on what would become one of the most tragic days in American history, September 11, 2001.

No one waking up that morning could have imagined the events that would unfold. What began as the launch of a dream for a small company quickly became overshadowed by unthinkable sorrow, as the nation watched in horror. On that day, 2,977 lives were lost, and America was forever changed.

While MVP was born on 9/11, we have never allowed our anniversary to overshadow the profound weight this date carries. Instead, we have always approached it with humility and reverence, knowing that our story is just a small thread in the larger fabric of the American spirit.

We are a testament to that spirit; resilient, determined, and deeply grateful. From 3 people and a dream, to 25 years of growth, challenges, and triumphs, MVP stands as a living example that the American dream endures, even in the face of unimaginable loss.

Today, we pause to remember. To honor the lives lost. To reflect on what it means to grow in the shadow of that day, and to give thanks for the opportunities and freedoms we have.

Our Director of Plan Audits & Strategic Initiatives, Aubrey Fouts, attended and brought back valuable insights on automation, APIs, and the future of TPA operations. AiR, Automation in Retirement Conference, is considered the premier event for tech-forward retirement plan consultants, and this year’s message was clear: firms that streamline processes and invest in smarter technology will lead the next phase of our industry.

Senior Compliance Analyst

Job purpose
Support MVP’s mission, vision, and purpose. Under the supervision of Management, specifically the Director of Recordkeeping and Chief Compliance Officer, this position performs and analyzes results of all plan compliance testing/calculations using MVP’s compliance system along with other custodian websites and Workflow software. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize the workload within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Works on projects/matters of varying complexity based on firm need.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Joyce. Joyce was a cherished member of our MVP family whose warmth, positivity, and kindness touched everyone she met. Her bright spirit, laughter, and unwavering optimism made every day brighter for those around her.

We are heartbroken by this loss and will deeply miss her presence in our lives and in our workplace. Joyce will always be remembered with love, gratitude, and admiration by all of us at MVP.
