Our Story

Platinum Home Mortgage opened its doors in 1993 and started out as a small, direct lender headquartered in a Chicagoland suburb. With big goals and ambitions, our name quickly spread across the nation. Today, Platinum has branches reaching coast-to-coast and has financed the homes of over 50,000 Americans with over $10 billion in volume. We plan to continue providing traditional and innovative home loan products for purchases and refinances that fit the needs of today’s home buyers.

Our founders, William Giambrone and Michael Giambrone, began as loan officers and shared one goal in mind: make homeownership more available and affordable to all—and they did. If not in the office, you can find William speaking in front of the Senate about our current housing market or making a difference in the community as President of local organizations such as the Community Home Lenders Association. Together, the Giambrone brothers continue to help more Americans into homes every day.

From the initial application to handing over the keys at closing, and on to the renovation or refinance of a home in the future, we are your lender for life.
