My occasional PSA to Friends / Family.

Knowing your family will be okay if you pass is worth the cup of coffee a day it could cost.

Imagine your loved one having to go back to work after, I don't know, 2 weeks of bereavement, if that? All while having the same bills and half the income while trying to mourn. It's not an ideal situation, but it is the reality that will come for many people.

I get it; we all feel invincible, but we are not.

Now, imagine you have something in place, and you can walk around knowing that if something happens, they can take off work for however long they need, pay off the house, pay off the car, and maintain their standard of living instead. This gives them the time and clarity to mourn without the financial stress that comes with your passing.

I talk to people daily who have no idea what their auto or home coverages protect. Most people know the price and the deductibles. ( I was one of them). A lot of the time, adding 100k+ in liability can only be a few dollars more a month.... look into your options.
