​Alex, a Hiram High School senior, was recently named a 2026–2027 Coca-Cola Scholars Program Semifinalist—one of only 1,200 students selected from more than 113,000 nationwide!

We are thrilled to celebrate Alexandria Walker, a senior in the Hiram Academy of Computer Science at Hiram High School, for being named a 2026–2027 Coca-Cola Scholars Program Semifinalist!

With more than 113,000 applications submitted nationwide, Alexandria is one of just 1,200 students selected as semifinalists for this prestigious scholarship!

The competition continues as the field narrows to just 150 Coca-Cola Scholars, each of whom will receive a $20,000 college scholarship!

This incredible recognition reflects Alexandria's outstanding leadership, academic excellence, and commitment to making a difference in her community.

Celebrating community, excellence and the outstanding leaders driving Pooler forward! We had an amazing afternoon at the Pooler Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Luncheon celebrating all the deserving honorees. We loved sharing the afternoon alongside Clyde Newton (SCCPSS), Dr. Chasity Lasley (JCB), Tameka Tribble (SCCPSS), Olivia Taylor (Ranicki Chiropractic Wellness Center ) and Lynsey Clements ( ), joining Ashley DuBois , Audris Hymon, Jamie Herring, Kaye Aikens and Jennifer Walters with MembersFirst Credit Union. Congratulations to all the award winners making a positive difference in our community!

The Sneak-a-Peek energy was off the charts at Factory Shoals Middle School this week! Eddie Fincher met students, families and staff as everyone got ready for a brand-new school year.
