Kathy here, with a friendly reminder for local families and seniors 💙
An unexpected call isn’t automatically fraudulent, but if someone claims to represent Medicare, an insurance company, or another trusted organization, pause and verify first.
Please don’t share your Medicare number, Social Security number, banking details, passwords, or one-time verification codes with an unsolicited caller. Don’t click links or call back using a number they provide.
Instead, hang up and independently verify the organization using an official statement, Medicare.gov, or 1-800-MEDICARE. A legitimate representative should respect your request to verify first.
Please share this reminder with someone you love. For general Medicare questions: not to investigate scam calls: call Kathy at (770) 520-8284. I’m local off Highway 92 in Hiram, GA.
