Thursday FEBRUARY 22nd

We will begin processing direct deposit transactions into taxpayer bank accounts on the effective date of Thursday, February 22nd. Note that some will start seeing deposits as soon as Friday February 16th with certain prepaid cards and banks. Also your tax preparer does not determine when you will be funded. Please monitor your IRS account and website for updates.

Hello Taxpayers

The IRS announced that their controlled launch of the Modernized e-File System (MEF) for tax year 2023 returns will take place on January 16th. During this time, we will be sending batches of tax returns to the IRS for processing before the official start of e-File.

You may begin receiving acknowledgements for early filed tax returns as soon as January 17th.

HUB testing is an early controlled launch of the IRS e-file system. This testing enables all industry partners to ensure their systems are operational before the official start of e-file on January 29th.

We ask that you please keep in mind that this is TESTING only- it will be random, therefore some returns will receive a status from the IRS while some may not. Also be advised that testing will only occur during a certain time of the day. Again, this is only a testing phase to ensure the IRS system is operating appropriately. The IRS officially opens for transmission January29th. We thank you for your patience and hard work in advance.
