Thanks for patiently waiting! Here are the answers to your questions:

Q: Why do I need liability on my renters' insurance?
A: Your liability covers you for any accidents that cause damage to others or their property, including not just what occurs in your rented space, but also outside of it.

Q: When purchasing a new vehicle, what is involved in transferring insurance to the new car and what is the time frame? At what point is the new car covered?
A: To insure the new car, we would just need to know your current policy number, date of purchase, the VIN, and what coverage you want on it. You should let us know as soon as possible after purchasing the vehicle, and the car will be covered from the moment of purchase.

Q: Am I covered with my Batman cards? I have about 20k in value.
A: In order to insure your Batman card collection for its' full value, you would need to get an appraisal and have the collection added to your policy as a rider for additional premium. Without a rider, you would only be covered for up to $200 per card, up to $1,500 for the whole collection.

Q: How can I insure electronics like laptops or custom built PC's and/or individual components like GPU/CPU some of which cost hundreds or thousands of dollars?
A: You are covered up to $2,000 on a home policy or up to $5,000 on a renters' policy for electronic equipment. If you need more than that, you can add an increased special limit for that coverage to your policy for additional premium.
