I flew to Bend, Oregon yesterday to visit with clients. This shot was taken just a few minutes after leaving Seattle. The photo does not do it justice. It looked like I could reach out and touch it — we were so close. Mt. Rainer is gorgeous!.

Good morning from Ouray, CO. I was here probably 10 years ago. A few friends and I decided to try ice climbing and this, it seems, is the ice climbing capitol of the world. Amazing experience! Now I’m here in the summer and it’s just as beautiful.

At first when you read this you’re like, yeah! That’s right! I have control! But that’s not entirely true is it? Our reality is absolutely influenced by our decisions — big and small. But so much of life is also the result of luck, chance, and circumstances totally beyond our control. That’s life. Focus on what you can influence and be grateful for any good things that happen to come your way.
