The Federal government has increased advanced premium tax credits (subsidies). It's not automatic. We'll have to go in and update your application. If you don't do it and if you qualify for additional subsidies, you will get them when you file your taxes in 2022. Call me at 603-828-0096 with questions or concerns.

Good Morning:

I just want to let you know that we are here to help you. If you have experienced a drop in income, we can go in and adjust your application so that you will get more subsidy. HOWEVER, before we do that, you can collect unemployment. I have heard, but not certain, that people will be eligible for the weekly maximum of $330, plus $600, per week, even if you were only making $18,000 per year. You will need to double check that first. Self-employed individuals are eligible for unemployment.

So, first thing, verify what you can get. Then, if you can’t pay your premiums, let’s set up a phone appointment and I will update your application if it’s needed.

Attention people. This is not etched in stone because it still has to go through the House and be signed by the president. Help is coming. Unemployed--self-employed, Gig workers (Uber), will be eligible for $600(?) unemployment. People making less than $75,000 will receive Direct Cash payments of $1,200 and children $500 for 2 payments--mid April and May. Employers will receive incentives not to lay their employees off. They will be given immediate loans that will be forgiven so long as they do not lay their people off. These will be called Job Retention loans is will be available same day. Also, will cover 50% of payroll for up to 8 weeks and there will be economic programs and tax incentives for businesses that don't fit. The Senate voted last night. The House is voting tomorrow at 9 a.m. Call your representatives and urge them to pass this bill immediately and not to add any more fluff to it.
