This week Jacob was out of the office attending the 2026 Crop Insurance Professionals Association Fall Meeting in Napa Valley, California, serving as a member of CIPA’s Regulatory Affairs Committee.

Highlights included hearing from:

🌱Special Guest Congressman Jimmy Penetta, U.S. Representative
🌱Dr. Steve Peterson, USDA Farm Service Production and Conservation
🌱Dr. Bart Fisher, Texas A&M University Agriculture Economist
🌱Dr. Joe Outlaw, Texas A&M University Agriculture Economist
🌱Ms. Pat Swanson, RMA Administrator

The meetings which took place throughout the week focused on critical issues impacting growers and the future of crop insurance.

We’re proud to work alongside others in the industry who are going above and beyond to advocate for producers and strengthen agriculture’s safety net.

A extremely important update was just released TODAY by USDA regarding 2025 ARC and PLC. Payments are now LIVE and are now rolling out to eligible producers!

These safety net programs are stated to generate approximately $13.8 billion, notably one of the largest payouts we have experienced in the past decade.
