October means cooler weather, changing leaves—and unfortunately, an increase in deer activity on the roads.

If you encounter a deer, remember:

👉 Hitting a deer is generally covered under comprehensive coverage, not collision coverage.

Comprehensive coverage typically protects your vehicle from damage caused by things like animals, theft, hail, falling objects, and other non-collision events.

A few reminders for fall driving:
• Watch carefully around dawn and dusk
• Slow down if you see one deer—others may be nearby
• Stay alert in wooded and rural areas
