Tips to build your credit!

Use your credit card to pay bills, but ONLY if you have the money to pay that credit card off before the due date. Example ComEd bill $177 pay it with your credit card but put the $177 cash you were going to use aside. Take the $177 and pay it off.

Paying your credit card balance before its statement closes can lower your interest payments and increase your credit score. This is because paying early leads to lower credit utilization and a lower average daily balance.
