As investors look beyond Middle East tensions, U.S. economic fundamentals are coming into sharper focus, driven by an accelerating AI investment and robust corporate profit growth, reinforcing the constructive case for equities. However, elevated inflation may keep rate cuts off the table and limit near-term progress in bond markets.

Senior Economist James McCann explains what this could mean for investors in our Weekly Market Wrap.

Scarcity doesn’t always come from lack.

I’ve seen it show up in people who are doing well on paper. Stable, responsible, and thoughtful with their decisions.

But there’s still hesitation. Second‑guessing. A sense that every decision has to be optimized or delayed.

Not because resources aren’t there, but because certainty feels just out of reach.
An abundance mindset isn’t about ignoring risk or being careless. It’s about recognizing when enough is already present and allowing that to shape how you move forward.

Sometimes the shift isn’t financial.
It’s internal.

Quick gut check: do your decisions feel driven more by confidence or caution right now?

Clarity doesn’t start with numbers. It starts with purpose.

It’s easy to jump straight into decisions. What to invest in, what to change, what to optimize next.

But without a clear sense of what those decisions are meant to support, it’s hard to know if you’re actually making progress.

I’ve found that when purpose is defined first, everything else gets simpler. Decisions feel less reactive and more intentional. Tradeoffs become clearer. Conversations become more meaningful.

Direction doesn’t come from doing more.

It comes from knowing what matters most before you decide what to do next.

Does the way you’re using your resources line up with what you say matters most?

Not every decision needs to be perfect to be right.

It’s easy to feel like we need full clarity before we move forward. Every angle covered. Every outcome considered.

But in reality, waiting for perfect certainty often leads to no decision at all.

Sometimes stewardship looks like making a thoughtful choice with the information you have, then adjusting as you go. Not because you’re careless, but because you understand that clarity often comes through action, not before it.

We tend to overestimate the risk of moving forward and underestimate the cost of standing still.

Most decisions don’t need perfection.
They need direction.

Have you ever found yourself overthinking decisions, or wishing you had acted sooner?
