Thank you Hickory Motor Speedway for a wonderful night! Our employees, friends and families thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Great American Smash last night. From Monster truck rides to watching “Speedo” win in The Gardner Group bus, the evening provided tons of fun. We can’t wait to do it again!

Thank You...Thank You - The Gardner Group in Hickory recently joined the Catawba County United Way's new initiative – Small Businesses Love Big. This will be an opportunity for small companies in Catawba County (50 employees or less) to invest back into their communities by supporting local non-profit programs through a new round of allocations. UnitedHealthcare Important Update as of October 28th

Catawba Valley Health System (CVHS) is pleased to update you that UnitedHealthcare and CVHS have reached a multi-year agreement on a new contract. This agreement protects affordability and provides UnitedHealthcare members with continued in-network access to Catawba Valley Medical Center and Catawba Valley Medical Group.

This impacts patients with UnitedHealthcare commercial, Medicare Advantage and VA Community Care Network insurance plans. In addition, CVHS is now in network with the UHC Medicaid plan.

Insurance plans will be back in-network for hospital services immediately. All claims on or after October 1st will be processed as in-network as well. Plans for CVHS-employed physician services have remained in-network during the recent negotiation period and have not been affected.

Patients can expect to find out more information by mail in the coming weeks.
