On Sunday, we had a great time sponsoring a team for the Especially for You Breast Cancer 5k in downtown Cedar Rapids. This year they set a record with 16,546 participants. It was incredible to see this many people in the downtown area and everyone there to support breast cancer awareness.

It was a very hot day yesterday at Hunters Ridge Golf Course. It was nice to sponsor a hole and raise money for Youth RoughRiders Hockey Club Cedar Rapids. Anyone who knows me, knows that hockey has always been a huge part of my life. GO RIDERS!

We had an awesome time playing in the Jefferson Alumni Golf Tournament over the weekend. We shot -14, which was good for 2nd place. More importantly we got to catch up on what is going on in our lives and had a ton of laughs! It was nice to sponsor a hole and help raise some money for JAG - Jefferson Alumni Golf which will donate money to help with youth sports. GO J-HAWKS!!!

Here is an actual story:
This morning, one of my old neighbor's reached out to me for home/auto insurance quotes. He called because they had seen their rates go up with their current insurance carrier.
