We are currently seeking a Loan Counter/Retail Sales Associate. Looking for self-motivated individuals who can take initiative to perform job duties as required with a positive attitude. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service on both the pawn and retail side by greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers to process pawn loan, sales, and layaway transactions. No experience in the industry required, however experience in pawn shops or jewelry stores is preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish is not required but is preferred. We are willing to train highly motivated individuals interested in pursuing a career in the pawn industry. You will work 30+ hours per week, with weekends and holidays required.
Requirements:
• Reliable transportation
• Basic computer skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Attention to detail
• Available weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to climb step stool/short ladder
• Ability to test items, including tools and equipment
• Must be punctual, reliable and self motivated
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Ability to travel to various shop locations as needed for required work shifts. This includes: Apple Valley and Hesperia. Additional store locations in: Fontana, San Bernardino, Yucaipa, and Oceanside
