Join us at the Newbold White House this Sunday, October 12, as Betsy Dowdy rides again!

Colonial reenactors will be on hand 11:00 am until 3:00 pm to demonstrate camp life, candlemaking, soap making and laundry, the Periauger and water travel, and life in the ca. 1730 Newbold White House. Also on hand will be a display of Revoluntionary War era artifacts explained by their finder.

No admission - the event is a free America 250 NC Celebration of our local history.

Betsy is scheduled to make her appearance between noon and 12:30 - so be sure to be on hand to witness her meeting with General Skinner!
