Don’t fall for fake cloud storage alerts!

Scammers are sending emails claiming your cloud storage is full and that your photos or files will be deleted unless you upgrade your storage plan immediately. These messages are designed to create panic, rush you into making a quick decision, and steal your payment information.

Protect yourself: • Don’t click links in unexpected emails. Check your storage directly through your device settings. • Be cautious of urgent messages demanding immediate action. Creating a sense of urgency is a common phishing tactic.

When in doubt, go directly to the official website or app instead of clicking the link.

Freshly roasted sweet corn, a live band, fireworks, a wedding, and complimentary bags of State Bank of Herscher popcorn made the 50th Herscher Lions Corn Bowl a memorable evening on Friday, July 10. This year’s event was bigger and better than ever as the community celebrated America’s 250th birthday. Congratulations to Kim Cross, winner of the SBH drawing for two patriotic anti-gravity chairs!

Kankakee County hosted Relay for Life this past Saturday. Our county has the highest grossing fundraiser in Illinois, and SBH raised $1,929 of the expected $240,000 goal. Way to go!
