Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Angel Saczko Throughout my life, helping others has been an integral part of who I am. The journey through Edward Jones has been both fulfilling and rewarding.

I chose a career in financial services because I believe I can make a difference in the lives of families in my community. At Edward Jones, we strive to make sure clients feel heard, and that we understand their unique story. We also work to help clients understand the investment world in terms they can relate to. I grew up in Cloquet, Minnesota with my husband Michael, whom I have been with for over twenty years. I graduated from UMD with my bachelor's in finance, and in 2024 graduated from the University of Arizona with my MBA. In the summer we enjoy spending time grilling and sitting by a bon fire, and in the cold Minnesota winters you will find us watching movies or playing board games. Spending over 14 years in the retail industry as a General Manager has instilled in me an immense amount of knowledge in leadership, management, organization, attention to detail, and the importance of understanding customers and building relationships. Utilizing that knowledge, I was able to change careers to the financial services industry as a Branch Office Administrator at Edward Jones. After over three and a half years as an Administrator, becoming a Financial Advisor was the next step in building a positive impact in the lives of those around me and within the community, to partner with clients, to hear their story, and connect who they are with making good decisions to build a future tailored by their past. Helping others is a core value, and having the opportunity to serve the community along with clients to create a positive impact is always top of mind. I have been a proud volunteer and committee member of the Alzheimer's Association since 2023, where we spread awareness in the community, providing support and resources and raise funds for research towards a cure for Alzheimer's. Each of us has a story to tell. We are all made up of moments in our lives, emotions, and experiences that make us who we are, how we respond to everything, and why we set our goals and how we will reach them. Today was one of those days that leaves you feeling grateful for the people and places that make our community special.

The morning started at Underwood Coffee with Brico and the Lake Superior Impact Collective. The meaningful conversations, shared perspectives, and genuine connections were a powerful reminder of how community is built. It's amazing how the right environment can create both comfort and support while bringing people together in meaningful ways. As an added bonus, I enjoyed the opportunity to try a coffee shop I hadn't visited before.

Later, I attended the West Duluth Business Club, spending time in a part of the community that means so much to me. It was especially rewarding to learn about the resources, organizations, and people working to help our community grow and thrive. Being part of those conversations reinforces the importance of staying engaged and supporting the places we care about.

The day ended at Chambers Grove with a forest therapy experience facilitated by Barbara at Abundant Wellness. It offered a chance to slow down, be present, and take in the beauty of a Minnesota autumn. It was a beautiful reminder of the balance between connection and comfort, and of how both nature and intentional reflection can help us recharge.

Creating safety and comfort for others comes so naturally to me that I sometimes overlook how vital they are. It's only when I find myself in that kind of environment that I'm reminded of their profound impact.

Feeling thankful for a day filled with connection, learning, service, and renewal. Community matters, and so does taking time to care for ourselves. Days like these remind me that growth often happens when we create space for both meaningful relationships and moments of quiet reflection.

What an incredible opportunity to experience a real old-school field trip! This morning, I spent time with my mentee through Mentor North at Sax-Zim Bog, learning about the wildlife and plant life that exist right here in our own backyard.

It was refreshing to step away from the busy pace of everyday life, breathe in the fresh air, and be reminded of how much beauty surrounds us. Seeing the world through a young person's eyes has a way of slowing me down and helping me appreciate things I might otherwise overlook.

One of the unexpected gifts of mentoring has been the chance to experience new places and try things I may never have done on my own. But what means the most is the relationship we've built and the opportunity to support her as she grows and discovers her own interests and strengths.

Days like today leave my heart full. Grateful for the chance to learn together, explore together, and be reminded that some of life's best lessons happen outside the classroom.

Today and tomorrow, you'll find me at the Black Bear Craft & Vendor Show in the Cloquet/Carlton area.

Being a Cloquet native, I truly appreciate the opportunity to be here in my hometown among the neighbors and community members I've known for years. Cloquet has a unique charm that has always felt like home, and it's a privilege to reconnect with the community that helped shape who I am.

It's also amazing to see the incredible talent we have right here in our community. The artists, crafters, and local vendors bring so much creativity and passion to this event, and it's inspiring to see their work on display.

I'm grateful to have a role that allows me to provide resources, tools, and education throughout the region while building relationships in communities I care deeply about. More than anything, I love being a source of support and comfort for people, no matter where they are in life or what challenges and opportunities they're facing.
