✅ What you should know:
• Provides one-time per-acre payments for eligible commodities
• Designed to help bridge the gap until new farm safety net tools are in place
• Payments are based on reported planted acres (double-cropped acres count; prevent plant acres do not)
• Payments are automatic for producers who meet eligibility and have acreage reported with FSA

💡 A payment estimator is also available through FSA to help producers understand potential benefits.

The projected price for wheat under Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) has been set at $5.61 per bushel for conventional wheat and $10.87 for certified organic wheat.
