🚨 NAP INSURANCE SIGN-UP DEADLINE REMINDER! 🚨
Producers, don’t let the NAP deadline sneak up on you!
NAP (Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program) coverage is available through FSA for eligible crops that don’t have traditional crop insurance available. It can provide important protection when disaster strikes—and maintaining the proper level of coverage may also be important for eligibility for future disaster assistance programs.
🌾 Already carrying Annual Forage insurance?
You may still be eligible for NAP coverage! NAP and Annual Forage are separate programs with different loss triggers, and producers can potentially receive payments under both when the requirements of each program are met.
📅 NAP Sign-Up Deadline: September 1
If you have eligible crops and haven’t signed up yet, contact your local FSA office ASAP to make sure you don’t miss the deadline.
Don’t wait until after a loss to wish you had the coverage!
