• Use keywords from the job description in your resume
• Set job alerts so you can apply quickly
• Search for related job titles, not just one specific role
• Track your applications and follow up when appropriate
• Continue learning new skills while searching

The current job market is competitive, but staying adaptable and proactive can help you stand out.

As a recent graduate, I know firsthand how discouraging the job search can sometimes feel. It’s easy to compare your timeline to everyone else’s, but building a career takes time.

• Every interview is experience
• Rejections are part of the process
• Networking matters more than people realize
• Your first role does not define your future career
• Staying consistent is more important than being perfect

A lot of graduates are navigating the same uncertainty right now, and persistence matters.

Job searching can feel frustrating, especially when applications go unanswered or interviews do not work out.
One thing I have learned after college is that rejection is not always personal. Sometimes another candidate had more experience, the company hired internally, or the timing simply was not right.

Networking does not have to be complicated. It can be:
• Reaching out to old classmates

Sometimes one conversation can lead to unexpected opportunities.

One thing I learned after college is that employers care less about listing duties and more about understanding the value you bring to a role.

Customer service, leadership, communication, and problem-solving are all transferable skills that matter across industries.

Before applying to your next job, ask yourself:
• Does my resume show impact?
• Is it tailored to the role?
• Would someone understand my strengths quickly?

Small changes can make a big difference.
