Dec Corn Highs by Month Since 2005 🌽

A few takeaways:

The last two years were unconventional. Featuring 2 of the only 3 tops ever before spring

The last decade has been led by May and June. With 6 of the last 10 years

We haven’t printed highs in July since 2017

The last and only August highs were back in both 2011 and 2012

The last few times we saw our highest price of the year in November, much higher prices followed over the next 1-2 years (2010 and 2020)

Most ears have about 800 kernels in total!

So next time you’re husking corn, count the rows- you’ll always land on an even number!
