Congratulations to Alicia Mares, HSB's Omaha Operations Manager, on graduating from the 2026 Leadership York Program.

Over the past year, Alicia has participated in an immersive leadership experience designed to develop informed, engaged, and active community leaders. According to Yorkchamber.org, the Leadership York program addresses the following seminar topics: leadership skills, education, economic development, cultural diversity and media, health and human services, law and legal issues, quality of life, and more.

Mares said, "I learned to understand myself and others and to appreciate our differences. It’s incredible how we, as leaders, can complement each other to achieve our goals. Thank you HSB for your sponsorship and support of Leadership York"

Through this program, participants gain valuable insight into our local communities, and the role leadership plays in the communities' continued success.

Fraud Friday is Here! 🚩
Why Fraud Friday? Because scammers often strike on Friday afternoons when people are wrapping up the workweek, multitasking, and looking forward to the weekend.
This week's topic is Email Scams. Summer brings more travel, increased spending, and busier schedules all of which create opportunities for scammers. Fraudsters often use alarming emails, urgent requests, and scare tactics to trick people into sharing personal or financial information.
