Don’t forget to fall back this weekend!

Daylight Saving Time ends this Sunday, November 2nd, so be sure to turn any non-self-setting clocks back one hour before bed on Saturday night.

While you're at it, it’s a smart time to check off a few other seasonal to-dos:

✅ Replace the batteries in your smoke detectors.
✅ Adjust your thermostat for cooler evenings.
✅ Double-check your security lights or timers.

Something wicked this way comes … but it’s not a ghost — it’s flu season! Don't let the flu haunt you this fall. Follow these tips to stay healthy and avoid getting spooked by sniffles.

👻Cover coughs & sneezes. They can travel up to 100 mph! Use a tissue or your elbow.
👻Wash your hands often. Scrub with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
👻Keep your hands off your face. Germs love sneaking in through the eyes, nose, and mouth.
👻Clean high-touch surfaces. Bacteria can double every 20 minutes. Wipe down phones, doorknobs, and light switches regularly.
👻Prioritize self-care. Sleep well, eat nourishing foods, stay hydrated, and manage stress.
👻Protect those at risk. Pay extra attention if you’re over 50, pregnant, have young kids, or have chronic conditions.

The Affordable Care Act open enrollment window begins soon. If you or someone you know needs health insurance for 2026 through the ACA Marketplace, here are some key dates to keep in mind:

🗓️November 1, 2025 - Open Enrollment begins. You can enroll in, renew, or change your plan.
🗓️December 15, 2025 - Last day to enroll for coverage that starts January 1, 2026.
🗓️January 15, 2026 - Final day to enroll for 2026 coverage. Plans selected by this date will start on February 1, 2026.

After January 15, you'll need to qualify for a special enrollment period to make changes, such as experiencing a major life event like marriage, a new baby, or losing other coverage.
