COMING July 1, 2026! Are you on a Medicare health plan but are currently not able to access drugs to help lose weight because you don't already have diabetes or other health complications? If so, help may be on the way starting July 1st.

Co-pays will be $50 per month according to Medicare.gov.

"At this time, for the purposes of the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, an eligible GLP-1 drug is any of the following products when used to reduce excess body weight and maintain weight reduction: Foundayo®, Wegovy® (injection and tablets), and Zepbound® (KwikPen®)."

Please read all about it on Medicare.gov...then talk to your doctor. You will need a prescription from your doctor who also submits a special form to Medicare.
