KFB Hazard Village is excited about the future and ready to serve EKY alongside Stan’s Dream Foundation for years to come.

🏀 Stan’s Dream Foundation to Host Free Pop-Up Basketball Camp This Friday in Hazard

The Stan’s Dream Foundation is set to host its Launch Event and Free Pop-Up Basketball Camp on Friday, July 24, at John C. Combs Arena inside Perry County Central High School in Hazard, Kentucky.

This free event is open to boys and girls in grades K-8 and is designed to provide young athletes with a fun day of basketball instruction, learning, and inspiration while honoring the legacy of Carl Stanley “Stan” Begley.

Camp registration will begin at 9:00 AM for grades 6-8 and 11:00 AM for grades K-5. Participants will take part in basketball drills led by local high school teams from across Perry County, hear inspiring messages, and enjoy a day centered around building confidence and opportunity through the game of basketball.

Special guests Tom Leach and Jack “Goose” Givens will be on hand throughout the day, hosting a Q&A session at 3:30 PM, followed by a public meet-and-greet until 5:00 PM. Every camper will also receive a free camp T-shirt and have the opportunity to take a photo with both Kentucky basketball legends.

Lunch will be provided for campers in grades 6-8, and the event is completely free of charge.

Founded by Derrick and Vandi Bowling, the Stan’s Dream Foundation is committed to opening doors, creating opportunities, and building hope throughout Eastern Kentucky while continuing the legacy of Stan Begley.
