Big news for Redbud Financial Alternatives, Inc.! 🎉

Today marks a major milestone in our journey. Effective today, Redbud is officially transitioning into a fully independent organization, concluding our formal structural partnership with the Housing Development Alliance (HDA).

What started as a collaborative vision to expand financial opportunities in Central Appalachia has grown into a mature, thriving institution. While our structural ties are changing, our deep rooted partnership with HDA remains as strong as ever. We are incredibly grateful for their years of support, incubation, and shared commitment to our community.

As an independent CDFI, Redbud’s mission remains exactly the same: providing fair and equitable loans alongside financial education and coaching to empower people to achieve their financial goals. This transition allows us to sharpen our focus, expand our capacity, and deepen our impact across our 14-county service area.
